Assignment 1
i. Aims and Accomplishments
The learning outcomes of this assignment is to apply psychological theories and concepts to our personal lives and that of others and to understand ourselves better and their interactions with others in term of psychology. The right attitudes needed to achieve these goals is by understanding the concepts taught in the syllabus and to observe our own interactions with others.
ii. Reflection
After completing this assignment, I realized all my life, I have been applying the concepts of social psychology. It was quite hard to remember the concepts at first, but with reading and observations, it made the concepts easier to grasp. This assignment made me thought about my experiences and write them down in words. Experiences that I have never before thought about. I considered remembering these past experiences as my strength and my ability to write them down in details. However, my weaknesses are identifying the part where I applied concepts of social psychology and the right concepts for the situation. Through this experience, I realized that I have to work more on understanding the different concepts there are in social psychology.
Assignment 2

The learning outcomes for this particular assignment is to apply psychological theories and concepts to our personal lives and of others, to understand ourselves better and our interactions with others in terms of psychology and to engage in psychological inquiry and become self-regulated learners. The right attitudes needed to achieve these goals are the ability to locate and extract information effectively. Creative thinking is also needed for this assignment as it helps in relating the situation with the concepts.
ii. Reflection
Through this assignment, I learnt that is important that to be creative in our thinking. Creativity was needed in selecting and relating the concepts of psychology into each article/advertisement. I also realised that for the group to function at the optimal level, cooperation is needed. I come to realised that in a group assignment, no matter how goo or bad a member performs, it will affect the whole group. Not just the particular member is affected. This assignment has made me aware of the various psychological techniques used in advertisements and articles to attract the public. The weaknesses that I have identified about myself through this assignment is that my creativity level is quite average. It took me quite a while to relate the concepts to the articles/advertisements. Though, this assignment has made me realised that when I am interested in something, it will immediate go into my head and I would understand it perfectly. For example, after reading and relating the interesting articles/advertisements to the concept, I was able to grasps the concepts easily. Although generally this assignment has no weaknesses, I find that it is very important for each and every members to work together, committing and cooperating to each other in the process of completing this assignment. If this part of the assignment was improved, the assignment would have been better.
